• Beautiful South Beach which stretches on for ever accessible with 2 wheel drive, great for walking, swimming, kite surfing, board surfing, sailing, reef diving/snorkelling , 4 wheel driving.

 

 

• The Fisherman’s Lookout-Obelisk at Port Denison offers panoramic views of the harbour and surrounds. A plaque depicting local shipwrecks is on display at the Obelisk. A boardwalk now surrounds the Obelisk to allow easy viewing.

 

 

• Port Denison Marina, grassed foreshore which has shady seating areas along with bbqs, children’s playground.

 

 

• Lovely grannies beach, 2 mins. walk from the Lazy Lobster, South Beach, wild life on the Irwin River, shells on South Beach & Port Denison Sunset.

 

• Dongara /Port Denison has one of the few remaining Drive-in Cinema’s in WA, with great movies and food, throughout the summer months. A great family evening under the stars. Take a wine and picnic. A lovely evening out.

 

 

• Walking tracks and lookouts over and around the Irwin river & township, with loads of bird life to be seen off the river boardwalk.

 

 

• Port Denison/Dongara Community festival held in November with a special visit from Larry the Lobster. Dates for the festival coming soon.

 

 

• Our town is renowned as one of the best fishing areas in WA.
